Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to lead a range of projects from stormwater management to hydrologic modeling, working with clients and regulators to drive success from concept to completion.

You will mentor junior staff, pursue business development, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver resilient infrastructure and strong community outcomes.

Competenze

• BS in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the engineering field.
• Professional Engineering License.

Mansioni

• Manage several projects simultaneously within the water resources discipline from inception to completion.
• Design a variety of water resources projects, including natural channel design, green infrastructure, detention projects, culvert design, and IDOT highway storm sewer systems.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Conduct floodplain and drainage studies.
• Prepare reports on engineering analyses and model results.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to determine stormwater requirements and facilitate permit approvals.
• Pursue new opportunities through business development efforts.
• Lead and mentor junior staff on engineering projects.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with clients.
