Egis is seeking a Senior Water Engineer, Land Development in the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill, PA office. Lead design efforts for water resources, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure agency approvals for stormwater and drainage components.

Ideal candidate brings a PA PE, 8+ years of water resources experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MicroStation, Civil3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic software. Hybrid/onsite options available across PA.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree.
• Pennsylvania PE required.
• 8+ years of experience in related water resources design and management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency designing with MicroStation and stormwater software (HydroCAD, Hydraflow, Pondpack, or SWMM).
• Experience gaining permits/approvals such as: NPDES Permit, DEP General Permit GP-11, Joint Permit Applications and Conservation District.
• Experience performing hydrological and hydraulic calculations and models using HEC-RAS
• Proficiency designing with Civil3D or Open Roads Designer

Aufgaben

• Independently progresses design to gain agency approval of at least 3 stormwater-related components.
• Understand PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike design criteria and standards.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, plans, specifications and drainage reports.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Develop technical scope and price proposals for water resource tasks
• Coordinate own work and team efforts to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Monitor project issues, scope changes and budget variances during development.
• Apply experience to anticipate risks and their impact on other project elements.
• Optimize work processes with focus on continuous improvement.
• Assist on water resource projects across the region/country.
