Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, with 8+ years of roadway design experience on PennDOT and Turnpike projects. The role requires geometric roadway design, PS&E development, and coordination with project staff, clients, and sub-consultants.

You will manage documentation, schedules, budgets, and scope while collaborating with Lochner offices nationwide to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania is required.
• 8+ years of roadway design experience on PennDOT or Turnpike projects.
• Experience with PS&E and contract document preparation.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design efforts for PennDOT/Pennsylvania Turnpike projects.
• Coordinate with project staff, disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Develop calculations and contract documents (PS&E) per state/local requirements.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Collaborate across Lochner offices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
