Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including 1-D/2-D river modeling, ponding, and design. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and guide project teams toward on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a PE license and at least 8 years of experience, with strong leadership and communication skills, plus proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation. Hybrid work in IL/MN/IA locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
8+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in 1-D/2-D hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tasks and model reviews.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical teams on plans.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Mentor junior engineers and staff.
Engage with local professional organizations and present papers.
