Job summary

Ausenco is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to support a range of hydrological and hydraulic analyses, water management design and project integration. You will contribute to high-profile projects, mentor juniors, and develop professional expertise within a global team.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a professional designation, and a degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental or Hydrotechnical Engineering. Proficiency with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and GoldSim is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis including flood mapping and water balance analysis.
• Support mine water management design and optimization.
• Design and implement water management systems and conveyance structures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated design and operation.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals and documentation for water resources engineering.
• Present solutions at conferences and events.
• Provide technical advice to junior team members.
