Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, seeks a civil/geological engineer to lead water resources design and project management on flood risk reduction, water conveyance, and dam/hydropower rehabilitation projects in California.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's in civil or geological engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and a PE license with ability to obtain in CA within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil or geological engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• PE license in any state with ability to obtain in CA within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager and/or project engineer on complex multi-discipline projects.
• Mentor team members and act as technical resource.
• Review, approve, and apply PE seals to final plans and specs across multiple projects.
• Establish and maintain client relations; lead marketing pursuits or act as client contact.
