Job summary

LVI Associates is partnering with a nationally recognized engineering consulting firm seeking a senior Water Resources Project Manager to lead Florida-wide water resources and water reuse initiatives. You will guide planning, feasibility studies, and modeling efforts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and client relations to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in water resources, water supply, wastewater, or water reuse projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale projects with budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills and mentoring experience.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Familiarity with water infrastructure planning, conveyance, and treatment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver water resources, water supply planning, and water reuse projects across Florida.
  • Conduct water resources studies, feasibility evaluations, and One Water initiatives.
  • Analyze water supply and demand projections and conduct alternatives analyses.
  • Apply hydraulic, hydrologic, and hydrogeologic modeling tools for pipelines, open channels, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and infiltration systems.
  • Prepare hydraulic/hydrologic calculations, technical reports, and planning documents.
  • Support planning, demand management, feasibility studies, and alternatives analyses for complex projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client meetings and travel as required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver water resources, water supply planning, and water reuse projects throughout Florida.
  • Perform water resources studies, water supply feasibility evaluations, integrated water supply plans, One Water initiatives, conservation programs, and reuse studies.
  • Analyze water supply and demand projections, conduct alternatives analyses, and document findings.
  • Apply hydraulic,hydrologic,andhydrogeologicmodeling tools to support planning and design efforts for:
    • Pipelines
    • Open channels
    • Pump stations
    • Storage and treatment facilities
    • Wellfields
    • Infiltration systems
    • Natural and engineered water management systems
  • Prepare hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, technical reports, and planning documents.
  • Support water supply planning, demand management, feasibility studies, and alternatives analyses for projects of varying complexity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, planning, and scientific teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, project coordination, and occasional travel as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in water resources, water supply, wastewater, or water reuse projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects with responsibility for budgets, schedules, quality standards, and client relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring technical staff and guiding project delivery.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Familiarity with water supply, wastewater, and reuse systems, including planning, conveyance, and treatment infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to water infrastructure.
  • Strong team-oriented approach and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
