Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in hydraulic/stormwater design.
• NC PE license or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Strong hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience with HEC-RAS.
• Experience with open channel and closed pipe drainage design.
• Knowledge of FEMA requirements and NCDOT standards.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience leading staff and managing multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Lead water resources, hydraulic and stormwater projects.
• Manage team workload, staff, and schedules.
• Design stream crossings, drainage systems, and erosion control.
• Model hydrology/hydraulics using HEC-RAS and related tools.
• Prepare MOA, CLOMR, LOMR packages.
• Oversee report generation and analyses.
• Support flood resiliency and stormwater master planning.
• Manage project scoping, fees, contracts, and negotiations.
• Attend public meetings; present findings as needed.
• Train staff and assist marketing of water resources services.
• Contribute to proposals and client meetings with technical input.
