Craftwater is seeking a senior civil engineer specializing in water resources design to lead complex projects from concept through bid. You will create robust design documents and mentor junior engineers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and possibly MicroStation, performing hydrologic analyses, soil and sediment control, and site layout. A California PE license and a strong writing ability are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in civil water resources design.
• California PE License required (multi-state a plus).
• Bachelor’s in environmental/civil engineering; Master’s preferred.

Aufgaben

• Development of full civil/water resource design projects from concept to construction bid with docs, specs, and cost estimates.
• Mentor project engineer level staff and coordinate with project managers.
• Prepare proposals and project scope write-ups for new pursuits.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D (MicroStation is a plus) to create civil construction documents; cover grading, hydraulics, site layout, erosion control.
• Perform detailed hydrologic studies and hydraulic/sedimentation analyses as applicable.
• Describe and present project efforts clearly to clients and the public.
