Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC, is seeking a Design Engineer III- Water Resources to join our CWE team in Colorado. The role focuses on planning, design, and execution of civil water resources projects, with emphasis on delivering robust PS&E packages and client interaction across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in civil engineering, a PE license or substantial AE experience, and strong AutoCAD Civil3D and GIS skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years civil engineering experience.
• PE registration or 8+ years AE experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and PDF software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management.
• Manage workload of engineering staff.
• Meet with clients regarding work and performance.
• Prepare PS&E bid packages from concept to final design.
• Solve design problems using engineering calculations.
• Prepare engineering reports for civil site improvements and water systems.
• Prepare project drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and stakeholders.
