Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is a premier water-focused engineering firm seeking a senior leader to guide complex water and wastewater projects from planning through commissioning. You’ll oversee multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure high quality outcomes for public and private clients.

The role emphasizes strong client interaction, technical excellence, and coordination with business development to pursue new opportunities. PE licensed professionals preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering with PE registration.
• 15+ years of water project experience across design and construction phases.
• Experience delivering and managing water/wastewater projects with budgets and schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and teams.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, cost, and quality within constraints.
• Preference for Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manages the successful execution of water and wastewater utility projects.
• Advises clients through project life cycle to meet budget, schedule and quality goals.
• Leads and oversees project teams in planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Supervises staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others on assignments.
• Prepares reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintains effective communication among teams, clients and partners.
• Partners with local business development to identify opportunities and assist with proposals.
