Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and quality standards. You will coordinate staff engineers, drafters, and consultants to deliver complex solutions.

The role requires a Hawaii-registered PE, 15+ years in water projects, and a proven track record delivering large-scale water and wastewater programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years of water project experience.
• Experience delivering and managing water treatment, transmission/distribution, storage, groundwater wells, and master planning projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Hawaii.
• Experience in design and construction phase with budget, schedule, and quality responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to communicate with clients and project teams.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Build on our growth in the region and facilitate planning, design, and construction of complex water and wastewater projects with budgets, schedules, contract obligations, and quality standards.
• Manage the successful execution of water and wastewater utility projects.
• Advise clients throughout the project life cycle to meet or exceed budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Lead and oversee project teams in planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of projects of various sizes.
• Supervise and coordinate staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others on specific assignments.
• Prepare reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain effective communication among project teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Partner with local business development teams to identify opportunities and assist with proposals, including scopes and cost estimates.
