Job summary

Gradiant, a Boston-headquartered water technology company, seeks a Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater programs. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client relationships while mentoring junior staff.

You will drive proposals and presentations, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget for critical industries from semiconductors to pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required or expected.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) is preferred.
• Expertise in water treatment processes and strong communication.
• Proficiency with project management software is expected.
• 5-8 years of experience in water/wastewater consulting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and quality standards.
• Manage all phases from contract award through handover and closeout.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
• Drive outcomes while maintaining customer satisfaction and excellence.
• Oversee site construction, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Develop and implement site construction plans and strategies.
• Coordinate construction activities for timely completion.
• Serve as the primary client contact; lead meetings and reporting.
• Guide and coordinate internal/external project resources.
• Maintain project records, documentation, and reporting systems.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout lifecycle.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cost performance, and variations.
