Burns & McDonnell in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical water and wastewater projects for municipal and industrial clients. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.

You will mentor junior staff, build client relationships for repeat work, and help position Burns & McDonnell for future opportunities. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related degree from accredited program required.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience (15 years preferred) in design engineering.
• Previous consulting and project management experience preferred.
• Professional Registration in the state of Texas (ability to obtain Texas registration is acceptable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership on all aspects of multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to completion, including safety, quality, risk, engineering, procurement, construction, environmental compliance, and financials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project life cycle.
• Leverage existing client relationships, create new client relationships and focus on repeat work within each client account.
• Support business strategy for developing new business opportunities.
• Identify and position Burns & McDonnell for upcoming projects and opportunities.
• Provide direction as part of the sales team for events, conferences, and industry contacts.
• Provide guidance and industry feedback to the water leadership team.
• Mentor and train project team members.
