Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery of large water infrastructure programs, guiding municipal water and wastewater projects from inception through close-out and coordinating cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on client liaison with executive stakeholders, risk management, budget oversight, and execution plan development, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple sites including CA and MO.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams on large projects or programs >$250M preferred.
• Strong client development and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Deep expertise in project controls, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic program initiatives to meet goals.
• Direct and coordinate the work of a multi-discipline program team.
• Engage with senior client leadership on reporting, issues resolution and relationships.
• Drive data collection, analytics, and reporting tools to support budgets and schedules.
• Manage program budgets and expenditures, tracking financial performance.
• Present monthly financial information to leadership and forecast revenue.
