The City of Atlanta is seeking a certified Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance mechanics at water facilities, pumping stations, and storage tanks. You will manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure PPE compliance.

Lead a team of 5–6 skilled workers, coordinate with vendors, and utilize the Maximo system to assign tasks and track outcomes.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5–8 years of related maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a plant maintenance setting.
• Valid Georgia driver's license; Journeyman's/Walter Operator licenses preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and evaluates staff, handles employees' concerns and problems; conducts performance appraisals.
• Instructs staff on repair procedures to ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Prepares and submits work orders and daily activity reports.
• Prepares requisitions to order equipment, supplies and materials.
• Evaluates and approves employee performance on repairs.
• Assists in budgeting and participates on interview panels.
