Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Project Manager for the Water Department to own the full lifecycle of capital water infrastructure projects, from concept and design through construction, commissioning and hand‑over.

You will supervise engineering and construction contractors, coordinating with Production, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Finance teams to deliver reliable, sustainable water systems that underpin our fab's uptime.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, industrial or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum six years of progressive engineering and project management experience.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments with pumps, piping, process equipment, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of major water infrastructure capital projects.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate project activities with operations staff to minimize impacts to water system reliability and customer service.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, budget targets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
• Review and approve project documentation, engineering reports, contract documents, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits, progress inspections, and project meetings to ensure successful execution.
• Provide leadership in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects that support the department's strategic objectives and long‑term sustainability.
