Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead critical projects supporting operations and IWT improvements. You will manage the site Consultant Design Team to develop and review mechanical specifications and design packages for process systems, and oversee construction activities.

The role requires strong project management, technical guidance to design teams, and ensuring safety and code compliance across field work and installations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in an Engineering environment, preferably within Design or Operations.
• Minimum 4 years chemical/mechanical design and project experience in an industrial setting. Semiconductor fab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across site water systems from inception to execution, including cost control and reporting.
• Lead strategic fab and support project planning for mechanical systems for new and retrofit construction.
• Develop, review, and approve SAS site construction specifications related to mechanical piping, equipment, and distribution rooms/buildings.
