Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, seeks a Senior Water/Civil Engineer in Colorado to lead major water infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and client relations, delivering high-quality designs across treatment, distribution, and storage systems.

The ideal candidate has 10–20+ years of water project experience, Colorado PE, and strong leadership and communication skills to mentor staff and coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10-20+ years of water project experience.
• Experience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado.
• Experience with design and construction phases of water infrastructure projects with budget, schedule, and quality responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
• Work well in a team environment and deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of various sizes
• Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
• Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects
• Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, technical experts, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
• Serves as the main point of contact for clients in building long-term, repeat work
