Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead water/wastewater construction initiatives. You will monitor budgets, coordinate design-build activities, and ensure safety and quality on site, delivering projects on time and within scope.

The role requires 20+ years in construction management for water facilities, strong leadership, client liaison skills, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and Bentley PWCM.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in managing water/wastewater construction projects.
• Experience on projects >$30M in last 5 years.
• Strong communication with clients and teams.
• Thorough understanding of CM processes and cost control.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers and inspectors.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Bentley PWCM (EADOC).
• OSHA 30-hour safety training.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Budget monitoring across multiple projects.
• Manage multiple small to mid-size projects simultaneously.
• Provide constructability reviews and engineering support.
• Monitor and enforce construction quality and safety on site.
• Prepare monthly contract status reports and budget reviews.
• Coordinate personnel and construction activities with other managers.
• Develop portions of proposals and prepare meeting agendas.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and letters; participate in interviews.
• Mentor and train entry to mid level staff and inspectors.
• Report and letter writing.
