Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead technical infrastructure designs for municipal and industrial projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will develop criteria, perform analyses, and prepare detailed plans while ensuring QA/QC and value engineering across medium to high complexity projects.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 8+ years of water/wastewater/stormwater experience, and a VA/DC/MD PE license or reciprocity; familiarity

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design including gravity and pressure pipelines.
• PE license in VA, DC and/or MD or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Knowledge of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations and design codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and prepare contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
• Assist in development of design concepts, criteria, analysis and methodologies.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, plans and specifications for complex projects; perform QA/QC and value engineering.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase services.
• Support business development, project estimating and planning.
• Coordinate and mentor staff and oversee project teams with other Project Managers.
