Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to join our Denver team on a full-time basis. The Sr.

Technical Advisor will assist project managers and lead designers in developing design calculations and documents for infrastructure projects nationwide, with an emphasis on hydraulics, pumping facilities, intake structures and pipelines. Projects may include potable water, wastewater, stormwater, dams/levees, water supply and hydraulic structures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in hydraulics, pumping and pipeline projects.
• Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) required.
• Familiarity with physical models and CFD modeling.
• Experience in developing project approaches and proposals for municipal water projects.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and lead designers in developing design calculations and documents for infrastructure projects.
• Emphasize hydraulics, pumping facilities, intake structures and pipelines.
• Work on potable water, wastewater, stormwater, dams/levees, water supply and hydraulic structures.
• Provide technical leadership on these projects.
• Contribute to proposal content for municipal projects.
