Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants is seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer for our California office to support water, wastewater, and utility pipeline projects from planning through construction. You’ll lead design analyses, prepare deliverables, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentors juniors, and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years’ pipeline experience, and a California PE license or ability to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of pipeline engineering experience including design and construction support.
• CA PE license or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and pipe design calculations for water and wastewater pipelines.
• Prepare designs, specs, drawings, and alignment studies for pipeline projects.
• Provide construction-phase engineering support and review submittals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
