Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in utility, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management capabilities required.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and infrastructure design is required.
• Proficiency with GIS applications and asset management systems is expected.
• Experience using AutoCAD or comparable engineering design software is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for water infrastructure, treatment, pumping, and distribution system projects.
• Develop technical specifications, cost estimates, engineering studies, and design documentation.
• Conduct hydraulic analyses and system modeling to evaluate performance and improvements.
• Support the design and permitting of water supply facilities, wells, pumping stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and treatment systems.
• Evaluate alternatives for water resource development and infrastructure improvements.
• Conduct technical reviews of plans, designs, proposals, and construction documents.
• Perform field investigations, site inspections, and construction oversight to ensure compliance.
• Analyze operational and water usage data to support planning and capital investments.
• Contribute to GIS and asset management initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, feasibility studies, and management recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
