Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for water infrastructure, treatment, pumping, and distribution system projects.
• Develop technical specifications, cost estimates, engineering studies, and design documentation.
• Conduct hydraulic analyses and system modeling to evaluate performance and improvements.
• Support the design and permitting of water supply facilities, wells, pumping stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and treatment systems.
• Evaluate alternatives for water resource development and infrastructure improvements.
• Conduct technical reviews of plans, designs, proposals, and construction documents.
• Perform field investigations, site inspections, and construction oversight to ensure compliance.
• Analyze operational and water usage data to support planning and capital investments.
• Contribute to GIS and asset management initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, feasibility studies, and management recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership across projects.

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a SENIOR ENGINEER for a FULL TIME assignment with one of our premier UTILITY clients in CROMWELL, CT. This role will support the planning, design, analysis, and execution of water infrastructure projects while serving as a technical resource across engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water systems engineering, hydraulic analysis, project management, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for water infrastructure, treatment, pumping, and distribution system projects.
