Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree, trade program, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• Licensed Master Plumber credential is valued.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field service or technical support experience.
• Experience with heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters desired.
• Ability to read and apply technical documents such as installation instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for customers, distributors, dealers, and service partners on water heater installation, operation, troubleshooting and service questions.
• Provide technical product support for applications, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting and service issue escalation.
• Support field investigations by gathering data and coordinating with engineering/quality for root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate recurring service issues and recommend corrective actions and product updates.
• Represent service perspective in new product introductions and changes; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Author and maintain service bulletins and technical guidance for field use.
• Track field issues and trends; communicate readiness for product updates and launches.
• Participate in special projects to improve service processes and content accuracy.
