Job summary

SEH is hiring a Senior Water Engineer / Project Manager to lead critical water infrastructure projects across Minnesota. You will guide treatment, pumping, conveyance, storage, and distribution efforts, while mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-functional teams in a dynamic employee-owned firm.

The role requires a PE license and extensive experience delivering water/wastewater projects. You will partner with clients, drive project delivery, and contribute to business growth within SEH’s

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering field.
• Professional Engineer registration (PE)
• Significant experience leading the design and delivery of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects (treatment, pumping, conveyance, storage, distribution).
• Serve as senior client partner, maintaining long-term relationships from planning through delivery.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, setting technical direction.
• Guide development of creative and resilient solutions to water challenges; manage risk, quality, and outcomes.
• Support practice growth through proposals and client relationship expansion.
