Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Water Engineer in West Palm Beach, FL to lead water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering the full project lifecycle.

You will guide planning, design, and construction services, mentor staff, and ensure quality, schedule, and client outcomes, applying regional expertise in water distribution, wastewater conveyance, pump stations, hydraulic modeling, and asset management.

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
8+ years of relevant experience.
PE license in Florida and US Virgin Islands or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Regional and technical water/wastewater expertise.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead design teams in a project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the planning and delivery of water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and CAD disciplines in the development of project plans and specifications.
Provide engineering support during the procurement and execution of projects.
Occasional fieldwork, such as site investigations and client meetings, as well as travel will be required.
Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment specifications.
Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff.
