Stanley Consultants is a premier engineering firm seeking a Senior Water Engineer in the West Palm Beach, FL area to lead water and wastewater initiatives across the US Virgin Islands. The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery, and client outcomes across municipal systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a Florida/USVI PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and strong communication and writing skills. Travel and mentoring responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Florida and US Virgin Islands or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.
• Strong verbal communication, computer proficiency, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate in person and virtual formats.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership of design teams in a project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in planning and delivering water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and CAD disciplines to develop plans and specifications.
• Provide engineering support during the procurement and execution of projects.
• Occasional fieldwork, site investigations, and client meetings; travel will be required.
• Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment specifications.
• Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff.
