Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Water Engineer to join the West Palm Beach, FL office and support multi-disciplinary projects across the US Virgin Islands, driving water and wastewater initiatives from planning through construction.

The candidate will lead teams, coordinate with diverse disciplines, and ensure quality and schedule are met while expanding Stanley's regional footprint in water services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Florida and US Virgin Islands or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.
• Strong verbal communication, computer proficiency, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in-person and virtually.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership of design teams in a project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in planning and delivery of water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and CAD disciplines in plans and specs.
• Provide engineering support during procurement and execution of projects.
• Occasional fieldwork and travel may be required.
• Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment specifications.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor and develop staff.
