Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Technical Lead in water conveyance to lead the planning, design and delivery of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater conveyance projects across New England. You will mentor teams, drive business development and manage complex projects from initial request through construction.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of consulting experience in conveyance, PE licensure, and strong leadership and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment focused on conveyance and water infrastructure.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Experience leading design and delivery of municipal water conveyance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of urban storm drain, sewer, and drinking water conveyance projects for municipal clients across New England.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Drive business development and cultivate client relationships to grow conveyance work.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality; coordinate with multiple lines of business and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and lead project risk, scope and governance.
