Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is seeking a senior construction manager to lead water and wastewater facility projects in the Phoenix area. The role emphasizes budget oversight, schedule adherence, and client coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include supervising design and field activities, conducting constructability reviews, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality outcomes within scope and budget. A PE and extensive CM experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires 20 years in managing the construction of water and wastewater facilities.
• Experience on projects with construction value over $30 million in the last 5 years.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and PWCM (EADOC).

Responsibilities

• Budget monitoring across multiple projects.
• Manage multiple small to mid size projects concurrently.
• Perform constructability reviews during design.
• Monitors and enforces construction quality and safety on-site.
• Prepare monthly reports, budgets, amendments, and negotiations.
• Coordinate personnel and construction activities with other construction managers.
• Develop proposals and prepare meeting agendas.
• Identify potential projects, write proposals, and present to stakeholders.
• Mentor and train entry to mid level resident engineers, RPR's, and Inspectors.
• Report and letter writing.
