Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Lead Wastewater Process Engineer in Overland Park, KS. You will join the Global Process Engineering team to deliver advanced wastewater treatment solutions for government, energy, and industrial clients.

The role combines technical leadership with project lifecycle oversight, business development, and staff mentoring within a flexible, employee-owned culture. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable by law

Responsibilities

• Stay current on industry trends and client needs to inform growth strategies
• Support development and implementation of strategy and growth initiatives
• Act as technical advisor to design teams and clients through project lifecycle
• Lead and mentor team members to build capability
• Participate in business development activities, including pursuit strategy and interviews
• Provide technical guidance for projects and disciplines
