Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer to lead development, optimisation and delivery of wastewater treatment solutions across complex projects in the United States. You will design, analyse and specify treatment processes, diagrams, and equipment schedules while ensuring regulatory and safety requirements are met.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and support bids and tenders, with a focus on energy efficiency, resilience and whole-life value.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical, environmental, civil or process engineering; professional registration desirable.
• Strong knowledge of biological and physical-chemical treatment processes and process control.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs, calculations, specifications, technical reports and equipment schedules for wastewater treatment systems.
• Prepare process flow diagrams and mass balances; perform hydraulic and process modelling.
• Provide technical input through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational support; review contractor submissions and manage risks.
