Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Water/Wastewater practice in the US. You will lead complex wastewater projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with national experts to apply advanced treatment technologies.

You will contribute to proposals, model processes, and support field startups, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering quality design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in wastewater treatment design and research.
• Ability to lead process engineering for a large complex wastewater project.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven leadership ability.
• Strong business development, proposal preparation, and marketing skills.
• Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.
• Strong client focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with national experts on innovative treatment technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.
• Contribute to technical proposals and process approaches.
• Perform process modeling and QA/QC of design outputs.
• Facilitate client workshops evaluating alternatives and capital plans.
• Support startup and troubleshooting on site, providing feedback to design.
