Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Seven years of engineering experience including wastewater systems planning, design and project management.
• Five years of project management experience in wastewater/civil construction.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer in WA or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 12 months (preferred).
• Project management and public works knowledge aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning, scheduling, contract administration, design, permitting, environmental clearances, and real property for multiple engineering projects.
• Oversees design teams and develops construction plans, specs, and estimates, and reviews complex technical studies and reports.
• Coordinates with operations, staff, consultants, and stakeholders; manages risks and life‑cycle cost analyses.
• Prepares and reviews project documents; ensures conformance with codes and standards; manages funding programs.
• Directs project communication, public outreach, and coordination with agencies and the public.
