Job summary

Carvana in Tempe is seeking a Sr. Specialist Warranty to oversee warranty claims for a large fleet of trucks and trailers. You will manage OEM relationships, ensure compliant filings, and identify recovery opportunities.

As an individual contributor based at Tempe headquarters, you will work a Monday–Friday schedule with typical 8–5 hours, collaborating with procurement and finance teams to optimize costs and recovery performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in heavy-duty trucking maintenance (Class 8–5).
• Deep VMRS codes and major OEM portal systems knowledge.
• Strong communication linking shop ops to finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee submission, tracking, and reconciliation of all warranty claims.
• Act as primary contact for manufacturers and dealerships; negotiate coverage.
• Perform regular audits of repair orders for proper documentation (three Cs).
• Monitor failure trends and provide data to influence equipment specs.
• Track monthly recovery targets and report dollars per unit recovered.
• Monitor completion rates for safety recalls and service bulletins.
