Job summary

McGough seeks a Senior Quality Manager - Warranty to lead its warranty program enterprise-wide and act as a senior technical resource for post-construction issues. The role drives QMS improvements, conducts root-cause analysis, and coordinates with Operations, Risk, and Legal teams to resolve significant warranty matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM/Engineering/Architecture/Building Science or related field.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible commercial construction experience in Quality, PM, field operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience investigating and resolving complex construction deficiencies, failures, or warranty conditions.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, drawings, specs, inspection/testing, turnover, and warranty obligations.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Strong executive communication and technical writing skills with ability to work with Operations leadership, attorneys, Risk Management, and project teams.
• Ability to travel; valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore, SharePoint, and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Govern warranty program governance and serve as enterprise SME for warranty processes and Standard Work.
• Train Quality personnel, project leadership, and stakeholders on warranty procedures and escalation requirements.
• Audit implementation, identify gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with Operating Unit leadership.
• Set clear expectations for investigation, escalation, evaluation, documentation, resolution and closure of warranty matters.
• Maintain visibility of significant warranty issues and ensure ownership remains with Operating Units.
