Pentair seeks a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution and warehousing improvements, ensuring 95%+ on-time delivery and safe, efficient material flow between the warehouse and plant in Roseville, Minnesota.

You will supervise warehouse personnel, coordinate with production and purchasing, implement lean practices, manage timekeeping and performance reviews, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree in a related field or five years’ experience in work related assignments.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to effectively work across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and SAP; comfort with intranet and internet.
• Knowledge of international shipping, shipping regulations, and regulatory documentation is preferred.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and analytical/problem-solving skills for process improvements.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to adapt to changing business circumstances and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts in distribution and warehousing to improve productivity and material flow.
• Supervise Warehouse personnel to ensure efficient department operation.
• Drive safety improvements, productivity, 5S adherence, and auditing within the warehouse.
• Improve inventory flow between warehouse and manufacturing plant; identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through standard work and disciplined processes.
• Coordinate with production and purchasing to meet on-time delivery targets (95%+).
• Crosstrain warehouse staff for printing orders, receiving, shipping, and pick-pack processes.
• Interact with Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and minimize shipping/packing errors.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies; support equal opportunity practices.
• Support ongoing documentation, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
