Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee loading/unloading, receiving, storage management and shipment preparation in a Kentucky warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality and delivery responsibilities across warehouse operations.
• Load or unload deliveries using powered or manual equipment.
• Receive inbound deliveries and communicate inaccuracies.
• Manage internal storage locations and record keeping.
• Pull materials for shipments and package for transfer to site or carriers.
• Create BOLs for shipments to fleet drivers or third-party carriers.
• Coordinate cross-function communication.
• Develop contingency plans for disruptions or challenges.
• Maintain 5S & 6S in the warehouse.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safety, Quality and Delivery.
• Load or unload deliveries utilizing powered industrial equipment or manual equipment.
• Correctly receive inbound deliveries and communicate inaccuracies.
• Manage internal storage, storage locations and record keeping.
• Pull correct materials for shipment to jobsites & package for safe transfer to location.
• Create B.O.L.’s for proper shipment for Fleet Drivers or 3rd Party Carriers.
• Cross-function communication.
• Develop contingency plans to address disruptions or unexpected challenges.
• 5S & 6S

Qualifications And Experience

• 2+ years supervising warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and/or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution processes.
• Experience in managing internal logistics for inventory & storage in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in self-management and cross-function coordination.
• Logistics: Inbound & Outbound shipments
• Knowledge of regulations, safety standards, and best practices in warehousing, logistics and transportation.
• Preferred experience with implementation of logistics software and inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk warehouse facilities and distribution areas for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to be certified as an operator for a P.I.T. (Forklift)
