Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years warehouse or distribution experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
• Computer literate with Windows-based programs.
• Excel skills: charts, reports, spreadsheets.
• ERP/WMS systems knowledge and usage.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Forklift certification per OSHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains day-to-day communications with department supervisors and managers.
• Initiates communication and problem solving for customer concerns.
• Assists in recruiting new employees and HR procedures including safety.
• Train new hires and existing staff on warehouse functions and safety.
• Keeps management informed of all operational issues.
• Prioritize, schedule and delegate assignments; monitor progress.
• Ensure quality and productivity standards are met by staff.
• Maintain proper maintenance and usage of equipment and supplies.
• Compile weekly/monthly KPI data for reporting to Manager.
• Manage budget and control expenses effectively.
• Assist with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Handle hazardous materials; prepare manifests; oversee inbound/outbound flow.
• Develop/monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
