Job summary

MITER Brands is hiring a Receiver III in Phoenix to manage receiving and storage of incoming materials on a full-time basis. You will oversee unloading, verify orders, operate related machinery, and coordinate with Purchasing/Production to keep production on schedule.

You will ensure quality and accuracy, maintain inventory integrity, and follow safety protocols in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to company guiding principles.

Qualifications

• High accuracy and thoroughness in verifying shipments and docs.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain onsite.
• Advanced computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unloading and receipt of shipments, ensuring items arrive in good condition.
• Operate extrusion-processing machinery and related material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against PO and packing lists; resolve discrepancies.
• Safely transport and store materials using proper warehouse equipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards and are undamaged.
• Collaborate with purchasing and production to maintain workflow.
• Notify supervisor when materials are running low.
• Inspect materials throughout the shift to ensure proper stocking.
• Adhere to safety protocols and MITER Brands guiding principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
