Job summary

• 5+ years in a similar position using a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications.
• High School or GED - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a final quality check to verify orders/transfers/vendor claims are accurate.
• Input data entry to document items and quantities in packing transactions.
• Prepare and package outbound orders to protect from loss or damage during transit.
• Apply packing labels and stage completed orders for shipment manifest.
• Identify expedited requirements and prioritize processing accordingly.
• Assist in training new packing staff and other less experienced packers.
• Report unsafe work practices or accidents to the supervisor.
• Maintain packing supply inventory and stock levels.
