Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a diverse team of Supervisors, drive efficient warehouse operations, and implement processes to optimize productivity and safety.

You will partner with Human Resources and site leadership to hire top talent, manage KPI reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction across the California region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, processes, and best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Prepare reports on KPIs such as productivity and accuracy to drive improvements.
• Foster open communication among leadership and associates to ensure transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership on hiring Supervisors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely customer order fulfillment.
• Partner with customers to proactively address concerns and improve satisfaction.
