Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a General Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of facility operations, including order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. You will ensure a safe, efficient site and partner with HR on staffing and development.

You will hire and train staff, maintain schedules and attendance, coordinate maintenance, and enforce 7S standards while meeting contract metrics and driving productivity, quality and safety to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• 5 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility for safe, clean, efficient operations.
• Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff, coordinating with HR as needed.
• Maintain work schedules and assignments; ensure time/attendance is accurate.
• Ensure efficient use of equipment and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain 7S Workplace Organization and enforce safety procedures.
• Manage stock levels with staff and ensure contract metrics are met.
• Drive productivity, quality and safety aligned with customer requirements.
