Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse General Manager to oversee operations, lead supervisors, and drive safety and quality in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires coordinating with customers, vendors and staff to meet commitments while maintaining records and reports. A strong focus on safety, Lean principles and continuous improvement is essential for sustained performance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and barcode scanner systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma and continuous process improvement knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in warehousing or 3PL preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Demonstrate an understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other standards.
