Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a General Manager III - Distribution to lead our warehousing operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, over 5 years of managerial experience and at least 2 years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.

You will drive strategic processes, coach a large team, and ensure customer satisfaction while managing the site's P&L.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, efficient facility.
• Utilize WMS and automation to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Present Monthly/Quarterly reviews to customers and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage site P&L and ensure profitability.
