Job summary

Lineage is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in California to lead a medium-sized warehouse. You will set strategic direction, drive safety programs, and ensure service levels meet customer expectations.

You will manage budgets, improvements, and collaborate with sales on account strategies while developing staff and optimizing labor-to-revenue KPIs. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years' Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies.
• Experience managing, training, and developing people in operation roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and WMS systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational support to meet goals for a medium-sized warehouse.
• Direct, recruit, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
• Achieve performance goals including KPIs such as Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze all warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting, quoting rates, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
• Establish and ensure facilities have excellent focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor and control budgets, capital expenditures, material handling equipment and space utilization.
• Facilitate initiatives to ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of food meeting Lineage safety/quality standards and employee safety.
