Job summary

Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) is seeking an Operations Manager in Zelienople, PA to drive standard processes for order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping. This hands-on leader will build scalable systems and coach the team for continuous improvement in a fast-moving distribution environment.

The role emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma, KPI management, and collaboration with purchasing, sales, and logistics to align inventory with demand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations management experience in industrial distribution, MRO, wholesale distribution, or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing KPI matrices and performance reporting.
• Strong process improvement background with evidence of implementing changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement standardized processes for order fulfillment, warehouse management, inventory control, and shipping.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Oversee fulfillment operations to ensure accuracy and on-time shipping.
• Manage inventory practices including cycle counting, min/max, and replenishment.
• Lead and develop locations staff and coordinate across division locations.
