Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of receiving and inventory management, fulfillment warehousing work group dynamics and metrics.
• Experience in improving business processes via continuous process review and improvement techniques.
• Track record in building and managing strong teams.
• Proactive, solution-focused leadership in high-intensity environments.
• Influencing skills with ability to gain consensus.
• Ability to develop individuals and establish positive team dynamics.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft and Google platforms.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in Solar / Renewables Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to create strategic plans for growth and efficiency.
• Interview, hire, train, and certify new hires on warehouse operations policies and procedures.
• Lead daily/weekly/monthly meetings and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the Warehouse Operations Team.
• Drive standard operating procedures and training to standardize across locations.
• Lead special projects and ensure safety inspections and root-cause analyses.
• Influence organizational change and drive inventory accuracy programs.
• Coordinate with Safety department to train, observe, and improve methods.
• Manage staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA, etc.
